As we are an Australian business, the banks that provide merchant accounts do not allow transactions in anything other than Australian Dollars. But we wanted to display our prices in US Dollars so that out target market would feel comfortable. The only we we could do it was to have prices in Australian Dollars, and manually add text for each product in the USD price. This involved a lot of time consuming updates. It worked OK, but was not satisfactory.

Then we heard about JAZconvert. A service that would allow us to display both AUD and USD prices in our online catalogue, yet could be implemented with some simple code. Also, and probably the main reason we decided to go with JAZconvert - it worked well with Ezimerchant Pro. We use Ezimerchant for our site and order management, and it was great that it could be added to that configuration.

Since installing JAZconvert the number of clients asking if "that is US or NZ dollars" has reduced to zero. Clients from the UK for example can see immediately they call up a quote just how cheap the Australian dollar is compared to the pound - as a result 25% of our clients now come from the UK.
